This page contains some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Realm. As we enable more features additional FAQs will be added to this page.

How do I update my personal information?

  1. Log into Realm.
  2. Click your name in the top right, and select ‘My Profile’.
  3. On the Personal Information tab, edit fields as needed and click Save.
    Feel free to enter your full birthday. The year and your age will not be displayed on your church profile.
  4. Click ‘Save’

via the Realm Connect app

  1. Launch the Realm Connect app
  2. Tap the ‘More’ icon with three dots in the bottom right corner of the app
  3. Tap ‘Profile’ to bring up your profile
  4. Tap on fields that you wish to edit tapping ‘Save’ in the app when finished

How Do I Add, Update, or Delete My Photo?

  1. Log into Realm.
  2. Click your name in the top right navigation, and select ‘My Profile’.
  3. Point to the image to the left of your name and click it.
  4. Browse to the image you want to use and select it.
  5. Adjust the image size using the slider and click ‘Save’.

  1. Launch the Realm Connect app
  2. Tap the ‘More’ icon with three dots in the bottom right corner of the app
  3. Tap ‘Profile’ to bring up your profile
  4. Your current profile photo appears in a circle at the top of this screen.
    Tap it to be given options for editing.

How do I set my privacy preferences?

  1. Log into Realm.
  2. Click your name in the upper-right corner, and select ‘My Profile’.
  3. Click to the ‘Manage Privacy’.
  4. Select a family member (if more than one).
  5. Click one of the buttons above the line to apply that setting to all information in the profile, or click ‘Custom Privacy’ and select a setting for each field.

  1. Launch the Realm Connect app
  2. Tap the ‘More’ icon with three dots in the bottom right corner of the app
  3. Fields show their privacy setting beneath the values in small text. Tap a field to edit the privacy setting.
  4. For family members (if applicable), tap a family member name and then the field which you wish to set privacy settings.

How do I find people or use the directory?

  1. Log into Realm.
  2. Click ‘Community’ in the navigation
  3. Click ‘Directory’
  4. In the search box, enter the name of the person you want to find. You can enter both names, one name, or just part of one name. As you type, a list of possible matches is displayed.

  1. Launch the Realm Connect app
  2. Tap the ‘More’ icon with three dots in the bottom right corner of the app
  3. Tap ‘Directory’
  4. You can scroll through the results or search by clicking the magnifying glass in the upper right corner to launch a search box. As you type, a list of possible matches is displayed.

Can’t Locate Someone?

As the rollout begins in August users will begin to appear in the list.
Depending on the person’s privacy setting choices, you may not be able to view his or her contact information.

How do I change my password or email address?

  1. Log into Realm.
  2. Click your name in the top navigation in the upper right corner, and select ‘Manage Account’
  3. To change your email, click ‘Update account email.’ and follow instructions to update your email address.
  4. To change your password, enter your current password, as well as a new password, and confirm it.
  5. Click the ‘Update’ button.

  1. Launch the Realm Connect app
  2. Tap the ‘More’ icon with three dots in the bottom right corner of the app.
  3. Click ‘Settings’
  4. Click ‘Email’ to edit email settings.
  5. Your password cannot be changed via the mobile application and must be changed on a web browser.

What about groups, serving, and other items I see?

These areas will become more pertinent in the coming weeks through August. Now that user accounts have been activated we will begin adding you to relevant serving teams and creating groups to represent the various groups in our church. Watch this site and your email for updates related to these items as we roll those out.
